Imagining Utopias: Queer Past, Present and Futures, Amra Odbhuth Collective, India

The Amra Odbhuth artists collective will carry out the project “Imagining Utopias”, a cultural art project which aims to ask important questions about lost, invisible ancestry and how we imagine the future. This will be translated into several activities: workshops, murals, and intimate performances in a public space. The project aims to fuse the traditional and the contemporary, to amplify neglected indigenous forms of performance, reclaim their space and be recognised for their rich histories and narratives, specifically for gender non-conforming people who have been part of these practices for centuries.
